What this is

This dashboard shows today's building inspections and lets each inspector plan and adjust their own route. Everything on it — inspectors, addresses, permits — is placeholder data for this proof of concept, not a live schedule.

Finding an inspection

• Search — type a permit number, address, or inspector name into the search box. It filters the list on screen as you type and searches across every inspector, even if you'd narrowed the view to just one.
• By Inspectors (left sidebar) — click a name to see just that inspector's stops for today, in their actual route order, along with a shortcut to view or change their route.
• All Inspections (left sidebar) — the full list, every inspector, for a quick overview of the whole day.

The summary tiles

The four tiles at the top of the list — Scheduled Inspections, Completed, Incomplete, Cancelled — count today's inspections for whichever view you're on (everyone, or just the inspector you've selected).

Editing a route

Open an inspector's route with View / Change Route to:

• Reorder stops — drag a stop to a new position. This previews on the map right away, but doesn't count as saved yet.
• Save Route / Undo Reorder — Save keeps your new order; Undo Reorder discards it and goes back to however the route last looked before you started dragging.
• Add Stop — any of today's inspections for that inspector that aren't on the route yet (never added, or removed earlier) show up in a picker above the stop list, with a "Heads up" banner if there are any.
• Remove a stop — the × button on a stop. This takes effect right away, unlike a drag reorder.
• Clear All ETAs — removes every arrival time and note entered so far for that inspector, without touching the route order. Asks you to confirm first.
• Reset Entire Routeplan — wipes the route and every ETA for that inspector back to a fresh, alphabetized default. This one's immediate and can't be undone with Undo Reorder, so it asks you to confirm first.

Setting an arrival time (ETA)

Use Set ETA / Edit ETA on a stop to pick a start time and an arrival window length — the preview updates as you go. You can also add a note, and choose whether that stop's ETA is visible to the permit holder. An ETA is hidden from the public by default until you explicitly mark it visible here, or use Publish All / Hide All to flip every ETA on the route at once.

Printing a route

Print, at the top of the route editor, opens a clean, print-formatted summary of the route — stop order, addresses, permits, and status — separate from the on-screen editor.
